Product Manager
This highly successful, market leading spa booking platform have a new vacancy as a Product Manager. This exciting role involves managing a portfolio of hotels and spas throughout an assigned area in the UK, developing strategies to achieve growth, developing new products and delivering an end to end procurement solution. Product Manager - Role & Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategy to achieve growth in assigned geographic area.
  • In collaboration with senior management team, create and develop new products and initiatives, and implement effective implementation processes.
  • Achieve set objectives in relation to supplier procurement and sales.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, providing regular feedback, sales reporting and highlighting opportunities to grow the business.
  • Maximise revenue from existing and new accounts through the creation of commercial deals with key partners through overrides and other revenue streams.
  • Support the XML integrations manager to achieve connectivity target.
  • Source product efficiently, negotiating cost effective contracts whilst maximising allocations & availability.
  • Support and contribute to ancillary revenue streams in line with objectives.
  • Regular visits to key partners in their locations and visiting venues for account management and to assist the onboarding process.

Product Manager - Skills & Experience Required:

  • Significant and proven experience in a product or account management role at manager level, within a travel, hotel, or spa related business.
  • Effective leadership skills, with excellent communication skills and ability to deliver change through others.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience of securing commercially favourable rates, exclusivities, and alternative sources of revenue.
  • Knowledge of XML connectivity and contracting product via channel managers, bed banks and direct contracts.
  • Committed to delivering results, with a determination to succeed in a busy, constantly evolving environment.
  • Practical and hands-on approach with a genuine interest in the product and excellent understanding of the sales process.
