IT Project Manager

IT Project Manager, Travel Industry, Brighton. A fantastic opportunity to take on this newly created role within a specialist travel company based in the Brighton area. This role reports directly in to the MD/Founder, will lead and play a hands on role in delivering a number of IT projects. 

IT Project Manager Responsibilities 
 

• Help develop and implement the plan for new technologies in the business to support with growth plans. 
• Work closely with an external software company who are creating a bespoke reservations system on it's functionality, implementation and troubleshooting of any issues once live. 
• Develop a deep understanding of the organisations in-house systems, websites and processes in order to identify areas of improvement. 
• Maintain and continually seek ways to improve the business technology capabilities.
• Manage budgets and this party suppliers.
• In conjunction with the outsourced IT support provider, play a hands on role in supporting the business with any technology issues, upgrades and changes.   

IT Project Manager Skills Required 
 

• Previous Technology Management / IT Project Management experience gained in the travel industry with an understanding of reservation systems and business/process flows within a travel business.
• Excellent project management skills
• Experience working with budget restraints more common in small-mid sized organisations
• An ability and willingness to 'roll your sleeves up' and play a hands on role delivering projects and supporting the business where necessary. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to bring together technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

IT Project Manager Additional Details
 

• A competitive salary dependant on experience (to be discussed on application) 
• Office based in the Brighton area 4 days a week with the option to work remotely 1 day per week.
