Commercial Partnerships Manager required by an Award-Winning Travel Company. This will be the company’s first Commercial Partnerships Manager as they seek to further advance their customer acquisition strategy through developing mutually rewarding trade partnerships in the UK, US and Australia. Salary around 50-60K plus substantial bonus.
Commercial Partnerships Manager Responsibilities:
- Identify which travel organisations, globally, could positively impact revenue if partnerships were to be established. Some examples would be various specialist travel agency businesses, cruise agents, OTA’s, luxury flash sale companies, Specialist Tour Operators, etc
- Approach and Pitch to target prospective partners aiming to establish mutually fruitful long-term, commercial relationships.
- Lead the negotiation of contracts, rates, and terms with global partners to secure the best possible agreements.
- Competently manage key relationships with new and existing business partners and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adapt sales strategy.
- Work closely with internal teams across Commercial, Product, Marketing, and Senior Leadership Team.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to network, promote the company’s services, and strengthen relationships within the sector.
Commercial Partnerships Manager Experience Required:
- Experience in a similar role within the travel industry, such as Account Management, Business Development or Partnerships
- A thorough understanding of the travel industry and how its component companies collaborate and complement one another.
- A strong and confident communicator with experience across multiple markets, most crucially the US, Australia and the UK.
Commercial Partnerships Manager Additional Information:
- This role will be homebased, with infrequent visits to the London Office.
- Candidates must be flexible to travel a minimum of 4 times a year to the US, twice a year to Australia and when required within Europe.
