Travel Trade Support Manager
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and relationship focused Travel Trade Support Manager to join a successful travel organisation. This team sits at the heart of the business, providing day to day support to travel partners across the group, helping them develop their business and offering guidance on operational queries.

Travel Trade Support Manager – Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of travel partners, resolving queries and offering proactive support.
  • Assist new partners during the early stages of joining the group, helping them establish and grow their business.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to provide solutions, guidance and business development support.
  • Share updates on products, services and tools available within the group, delivering training and guidance where needed.
  • Hold regular partner meetings at head office or other locations as appropriate.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with partners and help resolve any issues that arise.
  • Represent the company at trade events, workshops and industry shows throughout the year.
  • Maintain accurate records and engagement history within the CRM system.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions to upskill and empower partners.
  • Support the wider team by answering calls and emails from partners as part of the overall service function.

Travel Trade Support Manager – Skills & Experience Required

  • Travel industry background essential; retail travel experience highly desirable.
  • Experience in account management, trade support or travel agency management advantageous.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to network at regional, national and international events.
  • Customer focused, positive, flexible and supportive approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self motivated with excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities.
  • Comfortable liaising with colleagues at all levels and working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commercially astute with the drive to meet business targets.

Travel Trade Support Manager – Additional Information

  • Salary circa £33k, with some flexibility depending on experience.
  • Office based Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30, with the option to work from home 2 days per month.
  • Willingness to travel for ad hoc meetings and events.

  • Those coming from Regional Sales Manager, Travel Agency Manager or senior retail travel backgrounds are likely to thrive in this role.
