Flights Co-ordinator required by a Friendly, Active Travel, Tour Company. £25K per annum. Based in Hertfordshire. The Flights Co-ordinator manages flight bookings and ticketing, processes client requests for extras, handles fare issuance, reissues, and refunds, and coordinates schedule changes with suppliers and clients. It also includes creating flight manifests, preparing travel documents, managing client communications, assisting with reporting, and liaising with airport representatives to ensure cost-effective tour planning


Flights Co-ordinator Responsibilities:
• Oversee flight bookings and ticketing processes.
• Process client requests for additional services such as extra seats, group bookings, domestic add-ons, and upgrades.
• Manage the issuance of variable airline fares, reissues, and refunds.
• Address schedule changes, coordinating with both suppliers and clients.
• Prepare flight manifests for suppliers.
• Ensure timely creation of accurate travel documents, reducing customer touchpoints.
• Handle client communications across various channels.
• Assist in generating reports, documentation, and statistics for suppliers, management, and airport staff.
• Collaborate with airport representatives and team leaders to ensure cost-effective tour planning


Flights Co-ordinator Skills:
• Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of airline pricing and ticketing rules (CAT35, published fares, low-cost carriers).
• Strong numerical and written communication skills.
• Proficient in general IT applications.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Well-organized with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive in solving problems.
• Experience in administrative roles within travel operations, sales support, or administration (preferred but not required).


Flights Co-ordinator Addition Info:
• Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm
• Hybrid working 3:2
