Business Development Manager
We are recruiting on behalf of a market-leading corporate travel management company, who are looking to appoint an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to support continued growth across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales professional with experience in business development, lead generation, and winning new clients. This role will be office or hybrid based in Central London or Southwest London and offers a basic salary of £37,000 plus a generous uncapped bonus scheme, along with fantastic company benefits and the opportunity for future career progression.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate new corporate business through lead generation, including cold calling from an existing database
- Identify and engage key decision-makers within large organisations to drive new sales and account development
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact via phone, email, reporting, and marketing communications
- Attend client meetings in a professional and well-presented manner
- Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Act as a role model within the Business Development team by consistently achieving targets and KPIs
- Grow your pipeline through networking and self-generated leads, alongside telemarketing activity
Business Development Manager Experience :
- Proven experience in Business Development, B2B sales, or lead generation
- Confident and professional telephone manner with strong rapport-building skills
- Experience dealing with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Target-driven with a strong desire to succeed in a commission-led role
- Proactive, self-motivated, and resilient
- A positive team player who leads by example
