Head of Sales, Luxury Travel, London / Hybrid, Competitive Salary + Bonus. A FANTASTIC opportunity to join this well-established, luxury tour operator that offers it's clients truly unique and tailor made travel experiences.
Head of Sales Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Managing Director to lead a team of sales consultants, providing them with the support, guidance, tools and motivation to drive sales performance whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
- Use statistical data to identify sales opportunities and analyse trends to set realistic targets and forecasts.
- Regularly evaluate performance and implement strategies in areas that require improvements.
- Coach the sales team on how to build relationships with high-value prospects, overcoming objections and consultative sales to ensure recommendations are tailored to their needs.
- Track conversion rates at each stage of the funnel, identifying any areas of drop off to identify ways of optimising the sales process.
- Manage escalated client complaints, resolving any issues that are satisfactory to both the customer and business.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure strategies are aligned, feedback is given on the quality of leads generated by campaigns and sharing any insight / data gathered from customer interactions.
- Collaborate with the product team to provide them with information to help shape new products as well as feedback on existing products. Utilise their product knowledge to create training for the team ensuring they are aware of the unique characteristics and selling points.
Head of Sales Skills Required
- At least five years experience of sales management within a luxury travel / tour operating business.
- A broad understanding of different travel styles such as cultural, experiential, group travel etc as well as tailor made travel experiences.
- A track record of coaching, developing and driving the performance of small-medium sized sales teams.
- Experience utilising data to analyse and track sales performance.
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Commercially astute with excellent interpersonal skills.
Head of Sales Additional Details
- A competitive basic salary dependent on experience, to be discussed on application + bonus.
- Monday - Friday
- Hybrid working, 3 days a week in London offices (Monday-Wednesday) and 2 remote.
