Travel Reservations Consultant

Travel Reservations Consultant : An established and growing specialist travel company are expanding their reservations team in Edinburgh and are recruiting for experienced Travel Reservations Consultant to join their team on a part time basis. This role will be assisting clients both over the phone and by email with specialist trips to European destinations, whilst offering a high level of service . The role will include both new enquiries and following up with past customers to discuss a range of holiday products. This role is fully office based in Edinburgh and will be working on a part time basis approx. 3-4 days per week within the opening hours of Mon-Sat 9-5 and will include 2 or 3 Saturdays per month . This role offers a salary of £26k FTE along with a bonus scheme.  

Travel Reservations Consultant Responsibilities :
Assist clients over the phone and by email with new Travel bookings 
Offer advice on the products and services, making sure a high level of service is offered
Make sure work is completed accurately and ensure all details are presented to the client correctly
Work towards both individual and team targets
Complete any training to enhance product knowledge
Offer a high level of service to clients

Travel Reservations Consultant skills required:
Experience working as a Travel Consultant with experience booking travel to European destination within an inbound or outbound role
Confident communicator and able to build a rapport with clients
Experience working to sales targets 
Supporting clients over the phone and matching their requirements , using all available resources
Excellent attention to detail, making sure work is completed correctly and within any specified timescales
