This successful travel company sell a diverse range of luxury worldwide, package and tailor-made holidays and are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join them at their friendly offices in West Sussex. This varied role encompasses a wide range of marketing activities, including social media, content creation, proof reading, website testing and analytics reporting. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates with a passion for travel with some marketing experience and looking for the next step.  Salary up to £29k.

Marketing Assistant – Role & Responsibilities:

• Support with the creation of marketing materials, including email newsletters, brochures, web content, and PR.
• Enhance social media presence across various platforms.
• Creation of digital banners and engaging online content.
• Conduct search intent analysis to determine content needs.
• Monitor and evaluate SEO performance and trends.
• Distribute and promote content to relevant websites, PR, bloggers etc
• Support the maintenance and improvement of the content management system.
• Perform market research and competitor analysis to guide marketing strategies.
• Address and respond to customer reviews.

Marketing Assistant – Skills & Experience Required:

• Relevant Marketing, Communications, English degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience within a marketing / digital media role.
• Travel industry experience desirable.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas both in writing and verbally.
• Experience in managing a portfolio of social media campaigns
• Strong written ability, with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience of Google Analytics and Google Trends and key word tools.
• Video Editing experience desirable.
• Proficient in design tools and technologies, including HTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Fireworks beneficial.
