Risk and Safety Manager

Our client, a specialist tour operator based in Brighton, is seeking a Risk and Safety Manager to join their team. This role entails ensuring all aspects of marine and hotel safety are planned and managed. This is a full time role based in Brighton, Monday-Friday with a salary of up to £50,000 dependent on experience.

Risk and Safety Manager responsibilities:

• Design and implement a safety management system tailored to company needs
• Establish clear safety policies for marine safety, hotel safety, transport and overall operational risks
• Conduct and review regular risk assessments 
• Compile clear operational guidelines for safe operation
• Develop and deliver safety training programmes
• Ensure the company complies with all relevant local, national and international safety regulations for travel, marine operations and accommodation

Risk and Safety Manager skills required:

• Degree level with risk management, marine safety or a related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of marine and hotel safety regulations
• Able to travel including overseas 
• Ability to implement effective systems for all aspects of the companies health and safety process

Additional information:

• Monday to Friday mainly with some overseas travel
